Years ago, there was a bare-foot, free spirited soul that would cross our grass from next door and watch our babies for us. Time flies.

For years, we’ve been friends with Noelle’s family, The Reimers (check out their foundation here.) When it came time for Noelle and Matt to get married, I was honored to be their wedding photographer.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Bindery Event Space in McMinnville, Oregon. This space is so stunning. Soft light streaming in, a clean-industrial vibe. We had access to a certain portion of the facility that I’m not sure is always open, but it made for some epic imagery.

We stayed at The Atticus Hotel, which was lovely and it also could serve as a beautiful backdrop for getting ready photos or portraits. Very friendly staff.

Post wedding or day-after shoots have become popular for a few reasons. It takes pressure off the couple on the wedding day, feeling like they need to spend time with guests AND take photos. From the creative side, it’s nice to have a bit more time with the coupe and not have to worry as much about staying completely clean. I love doing both. Nothing takes the place of the energy of the wedding day.

Not long after the wedding, we took Matt and Noelle to a location near Tumalo Falls in Central Oregon. We played, we laughed, we droned.

We love these two and their family. Here are a few of our favorite moments.
